The Georg Fischer 5-Series DIASTAR Ten Valves incorporate several innovative features. The valve has Cv values that average at least double the conventional design. This high-flow design allows the valve to be used where diaphragm valves were previously not possible due to flow restriction. In addition, the new design eliminates the four bolts used to hold the valve together, which eliminates a corrosive weak point. The valve is available in PVC or CPVC. The Diastar 10 is designed to handle pressures up to 150 PSI. A modular design allows easy field installation of an actuator to a manual valve as well as other accessories such as position feedback switches. The DIASTAR Ten is optimally suited for all standard applications up to PN10 (10 bar) and including an assortment of accessories. The DIASTAR Ten offers components needed to allow an easy integration into your existing plant requirements. It is also available with a PTFE diaphragm seal maximizing the cost-benefit ratio of the valve. The DIASTAR TenPlus is ideally designed for high performance applications that require high closing forces. With the DIASTAR TenPlus line pressures up to PN10 (10 bar) on both sides of the diaphragm are possible. These valves are available in all body and seal material types; and therefore, offer maximum flexibility for your process requirements.
