Testo 470 Tachometer Kit

The Testo 470 tachometer kit allows for one-handed measurement of rotations per minute (rpm), speeds and lengths. Via optical rpm measurement, the 470 can record how fast a rotating object rotates. This allows users to check if mechanical equipment, such as motors, shafts and fans, are functioning properly or if preventative maintenance is required to prolong the life of the machinery. Using the optical measurement method, the 470 features a measurement range of 1 to 99,999 rpm. Additionally, this Testo tachometer kit can be used as a mechanical tachometer by using the included adapter for the probe tip or, by using the included wheel accessory, the 470 can measure speeds and lengths of rotors or conveyor belts. Using the mechanical measurement method, the 470 features a measurement range of 1 to 19,999 rpm. Both optical and mechanical measurement styles offer a ±0.02% accuracy. Featuring a five digit, single line LCD display, the Testo 470 tachometer kit also has the capability of storing the mean, max and min values as well as the last reading taken. Included with the kit are all of the required accessories to take both optical and mechanical measurements including reflective markers, a probe tip adapter, and 0.1 meter and 6 inch wheels for speed and length measurement.
