Product Code: 1738
The Optris CT 3M infrared temperature sensor is designed for low-temperature measurement of metals, metal processing, metal oxides, and ceramic materials. It will measure temperatures from 122 to 3272°F (50 to 1800°C), and functions in ambient temperatures up to 185°F (85°C) without additional cooling. The short wavelength of 2.3μm reduces the margin of error when measuring materials with unknown emissivity. Selectable analog outputs and multiple digital interfaces offer high variability. Field selectable analog outputs options include 0/4-20mA, 0-5 and 0-10 V, type K or J thermocouples, and alarm. The Optris CT 3M includes a programmable functional input for setting external emissivity, ambient temperature compensation, and reset of hold functions. It also features peak hold, valley hold, average, and an extended hold function with threshold and hysteresis. Optional USB, RS485, RS232 interface, 2 optically isolated relay outputs, CAN-Bus, Profibus DP, and Ethernet available with plug-in options. The Optris Compact Connect temperature analysis software is available as a free download and is necessary to document and analyze temperature measurement data. It is compatible with all netbooks, notebooks, and PC systems via Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and 8.
