The Megger BVM Battery Voltage monitor is designed for precise measurement of cell and block voltages in industrial battery banks. It supports up to 242 units in a daisy-chain configuration, offering scalability for both small and large battery systems. The BVM is compatible with load devices such as the Megger TORKEL and data management software like PowerDB and TORKEL Win. It enables automated capacity testing in compliance with IEC, IEEE, NERC, and FERC standards. Each BVM unit is compact, lightweight, and interchangeable, ensuring quick and flexible setup. The Auto Discovery feature simplifies integration by automatically detecting connected batteries and assigning sequential IDs for easy monitoring. The system supports a voltage range of 0–20VDC, with 1mV resolution and a maximum string voltage of 300VDC per loop. It operates efficiently in demanding environments such as power substations, telecom infrastructure, and UPS systems. Designed for durability and accuracy, the BVM complies with CE, LVD, RoHS, and EMC standards. It operates within a temperature range of 41 to 122°F. Included accessories, such as dolphin clips and interchangeable banana plug clamps, ensure compatibility with various battery connection needs. The robust design guarantees reliable performance in challenging conditions.
